Installation Instructions for Omega Profile Clamp

1. Surface Preparation: Clean the profile surface at the intended mounting location. Ensure that both the profile and the component to be fastened are properly aligned in their final positions.
2. Placing the Clamp: Position the Omega clamp over the profile, aligning its contoured central section with the shape of the profile.
3. Inserting the Bolts: Insert the mounting bolts through the holes in the clamp’s mounting feet.
4. Initial Tightening: Hand-tighten the bolts until you feel initial resistance, ensuring the clamp sits straight and remains evenly aligned.
5. Final Clamping and Tightening: Tighten the bolts alternately using a wrench. The Omega clamp features an engineered design with a dedicated working gap, allowing the bolts to pull and tension the clamp firmly against the profile during assembly. As the bolts are tightened, the clamp flexes and locks securely onto the profile, eliminating play and providing a solid, slip-resistant grip.
