Plastika Kritis is one of the world's largest manufacturers of specialised greenhouse films and agriculture films.

The wide range of Kritifil® tunnel and speciality films considers the specific requirements of crops and all types of tunnel constructions. 
The films are sold in standard rolls of 12×33m, 16x33m and cut to any length. 
We offer very wide range of materials in many widths.

Depending on the crop type, there are many types of film to choose from.

These include films with:
- different UV stabilisation: UV4, UV6, UV8, UV10 and UV12
- varying in thickness from 125μm to 250μm
- with different luminous characteristics (diffusion or transmission). 

The films can be enriched with additives to improve the crop's quality or the material's mechanical parameters and lifetime.

HOW DO YOU CHOOSE THE PERFECT TUNNEL FILM?

The wide range of Kritifil® tunnel and speciality films considers the specific requirements of the crops and all types of tunnel structures. 
Depending on the crop type, there are many film types to choose from.
Due to the wide range, Kritifil plastic materials are marked with an individual 4-digit code, allowing precise identification of the material and its parameters.

Considering the particular climatic zone and the leading crops, we can divide the materials into typical and specialised.
 
Under Polish conditions, typical crops under covers are:
- tomato
- cucumber
- pepper
- part of flower crops
For the crops mentioned above, choose versatile materials. It is also worth consulting our Sales Department to select the material that best fulfils its function.

Specialised materials, on the other hand, are required for:
- soft fruits (strawberry, raspberry, blueberry)
- nursery crops
- more demanding flower crops

Greenhouse films should be selected not only in terms of the crop, but also considering the object's type and quality and installation method.

Basic recommendations:

1. In a standard location, for typical crops using basic types of tunnels, we suggest using standard greenhouse films with adequate UV stabilisation and at least an Anti-Drip effect. Examples of materials: UV6, UV8 type 2792, 2925 UV10
2. for crops requiring an exceptionally high light level (or susceptible to spring light deficit): UV6, UV8 type 2872, and 7525 UV12 films are recommended. 
   For heated and warmed crops, we recommend films with a thermic effect to save on fuel: UV12 in types 7504 and 3992
3. for wooden buildings, we recommend a particular UV4 film, type 2491
4. for objects under challenging locations, exposed to wind breaks and objects with structural defects, we recommend films reinforced with metallocene (types 2491, 2792)
5. facilities exposed to chemical load of the film (mainly sulphur and chlorine): we recommend films with increased chemical resistance
